Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic components and equipment, including disassembly/assembly, circuit analysis, parts replacement, and calibration/testing/certification documentation.
•Assemble and install cables, wiring harnesses, circuit cards, and other electronic assemblies/components based on provided technical documentation.
•Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems, including fault isolation and replacement of failed Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
•Support tower/radome work including maintenance and structural inspection at heights in excess of 50 feet up to 750 feet, including corrosion control and prevention.
•Maintain daily time entry in Data Collection and Reporting System (DCRS), prepare FAA/interagency assets for shipment, and keep Crew Leads informed of task status.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in electrical or engineering technology, or completion of equivalent formal technical training courses.
•Practical experience in an electronic technician support position, including troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
•Ability to successfully complete a physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions of minimum 125 lbs and maximum 290 lbs.
•Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating engineering documentation and processes, including soldering and tool/test equipment usage.
•NACI clearance (ability to obtain Public Trust).
