Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure superior quality of medical treatment, compassion, and understanding is given to every patient served at NMC Hospitals and Clinics.
  • •Interview patients to establish and assess problems, causes, components, and impacts, and determine present and potential consequences.
  • •Develop initial service plans, prepare and maintain case files, and prepare confidential records with proper access control.
  • •Provide assistance and services by referring to medical/community resources and supporting patients and families in modifying behavior patterns when appropriate.
  • •Educate patients/families according to their needs and implement patient/family education documentation and patient care planning, and consult with medical staff about social factors for integrated treatment programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in social services.
  • •Two (2) years of professional social work experience under professional supervision, preferably in healthcare services or large-scale hospitals.
  • •Registration in SCFHS.
  • •Exhibits professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • •Excellent command of oral and written English and working knowledge of computer skills.
