Own end-to-end strategic initiatives supporting Thumbtack’s EPAD organizations (Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Design). Partner with executive and functional leaders to drive alignment, phased plans, and risk identification; keep cross-team execution on track with decision-focused agendas and clear outcomes. Use data to define success metrics, build tracking systems, and course-correct. Help shape EPAD’s virtual-first operating cadence and improve employee experience through targeted workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the Chief Product Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and EPAD leaders to turn strategy into execution through phased plans and rollout timing.
•Design decision-focused agendas, keep fast-moving discussions aligned, and translate outcomes into clear action with trade-off navigation.
•Serve as connective tissue across EPAD by identifying parallel work without coordination and aligning stakeholders to share learnings.
•Define success criteria, build systems to track progress, and course-correct when launching or sunsetting processes.
•Help shape EPAD’s virtual-first operating model by co-creating asynchronous collaboration rituals and leading people-focused workstreams to improve employee experience and organizational health.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,900 - 221,100 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or program management roles in high-growth technology companies or similarly fast-paced environments.
•Direct experience partnering with technical organizations (Product, Engineering, Analytics, or Design) and understanding where friction arises.
•Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives from zero to one, independently scoping work and driving execution without a predefined roadmap.
•Experience working with executive stakeholders to translate loosely defined objectives into clear plans and influence through insight.
•Demonstrated ability to define success metrics, design scalable workflows, and leverage AI and automation tools to improve decision-making and streamline operations.
