Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver functional safety work packages (design for safety) for automotive system solutions and electrical/electronics and hybrid NPI programs without impacting project schedules.
  • •Create program safety plans and perform hazard assessment (HARA), safety requirements, and technical safety concepts and implementations.
  • •Deploy safety assessment frameworks with support from senior safety professionals and help identify/mitigate safety risks under guidance with safety sign-off.
  • •Use functional safety tools and techniques (e.g., HARA, safety goal definition, fault tree analysis, FMECA/FMEDA) to support safety requirements and verification/validation activities.
  • •Plan milestones, execute deliverable reviews, and maintain safety process work instructions while communicating with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics engineering, safety, or reliability engineering (or Master’s with 0–1 year experience).
  • •3–5 years of relevant experience in functional safety (for Bachelor’s candidates).
  • •Understanding of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
  • •Vehicle domain knowledge with experience related to eMobility/vehicle electrification.
  • •Experience using safety analysis tools and methods (e.g., hazard assessment and safety verification).
