Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop thermal architecture, design, and validation for next-generation Network Switches (L10) and integrated rack solutions.
  • •Evaluate product concepts and thermal feasibility assessments using thermal simulation, laboratory testing, characterization, and data-driven analysis.
  • •Develop thermal solutions (e.g., heat sinks, cold plates, air movers, air shrouds, sealing, thermal interface material, venting, and thermal controls).
  • •Align with stakeholders on product requirements, performance metrics, and boundary conditions; assess thermal risk given prototype availability and schedule.
  • •Present findings to thermal engineers and management and follow/improve product development practices and procedures as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 164,000 - 226,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on thermal engineering plus 15 years of relevant industry experience.
  • •Experience in CFD modelling for internal flow and electronic cooling applications.
  • •Proven experience instrumenting thermal tests and test plans.
  • •Strong communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams and a drive to work through challenging compromises to achieve the optimal thermal solution.
  • •Experience working with CREO; experience with air and liquid cooling in server or network electronics; knowledge of cooling requirements for GPUs/CPUs/NPUs or rack L11.
