Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced welding operations using MIG, TIG, and stick welding to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • •Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, and perform regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • •Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • •Follow safety protocols and troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed; work day shift and be available for other shifts.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment performing welding and pipefitting tasks, or 1 year of heavy manufacturing welding experience with technical welding certification.
  • •Qualified journeyman welder/pipefitter with experience in 4+ welding procedures.
  • •Proficiency in pipefitting, welding, and fabrication, including correcting pipe stress and troubleshooting/repairing piping systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • •Strong safety compliance and 100% adherence to HSE and EMOC procedures.
