Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors by removing debris/trash, stickers, and writing (except pertinent to Auction business) and disassembling spare tires as needed.
  • •Wash vehicles using high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment, apply chemicals, power-wash engine compartments, and clean battery terminals.
  • •Detail and dress trims and panels (e.g., doorjambs, sills, wheel areas, windows, weather stripping, instrument panel and steering wheel) using brushes and appropriate tools.
  • •Buff and polish vehicles using compound/cleaner/polish, wax and buff painted surfaces, and dress engine/wheel/tire and vinyl top areas.
  • •Vacuum and scrub/shampoo/spot-clean carpets and upholstery, follow safety and health procedures, and perform other assigned duties including occasional driving for staging or sale days.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •Less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Previous detail shop or buffing experience helpful.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability required; ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • •Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks (standing/walking and bending/lifting 1–30 pounds) and demonstrate required vision capabilities.
