Job Summary

Participate in characterization and quality control of materials at the Materials Lab (ETXLL) for Airbus Helicopters, based at Paris-Le Bourget (Dugny). Fabricate material specimens, perform mechanical and physico-chemical tests on composites and metals (e.g., traction and DSC/TGA/TMA/DMA), write test reports, maintain laboratory equipment, and coordinate with experts and engineering teams across Airbus sites in France and Germany.

Key Responsibilities

•Fabricate test specimens for all materials used in the laboratory.
•Perform mechanical tests on composite and metallic materials (traction, shear, compression, delamination) and/or physico-chemical tests on composites (DSC, TGA, TMA, DMA), depending on candidate experience.
•Write test reports and carry out quality control activities.
•Manage laboratory equipment, including responsibility, maintenance, and tracking availability.
•Communicate and coordinate transversally with other teams across sites (France, Germany).

•BTS (or equivalent) in materials, physics, or physical measurements, with at least 3 years of experience in materials or a laboratory environment.

•Experience with composite materials, including understanding of mixing, processes, assembly, molding, machining, and cutting.
•Ability to read technical documents and control quality documentation and organization.
•Fluent French and an operational level of English for cross-site collaboration.
