Develop and maintain low-level CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader software used across Arista products. Build reliable features in EOS for secure, efficient system initialization and booting, and integrate new CPU firmware with support from hardware and vendor teams. Create automated tests (C/C++/Python), debug issues in customer networks, and contribute improvements to upstream open source BIOS communities while mentoring engineers.

•Develop automated tests using C, C++, and Python to validate features.
•Work with hardware engineers and vendors to qualify new CPUs and related components for Arista products.
•Track Linux kernel developments and identify features/functionality relevant to Arista’s products and internal development.
•Analyze and fix problems reported by customers and System Test Engineers; provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.

•Experience bringing up new CPU boards and qualifying/working with CPU and related components for use in Arista products.
•Hands-on troubleshooting and debugging experience in low-level CPU firmware, BIOS, and boot loader software.
