Job Summary

Develop and validate HVAC systems and design-build solutions for customers, supporting acquisition and turnkey project development within an ESCO environment. Collaborate with account managers to shape installation budgets and RFQs, create scope and permitting inputs, and guide design work from conceptual site plans through construction documents. Work with internal teams and customers to secure projects, refine Design-Build Turnkey processes, and support customer satisfaction, with some travel required.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop HVAC systems and solutions, including project scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and system validation.
•Support account managers with project installation budgets and RFQs, including scope statements, milestone dates, specs, permitting, and bonding requirements.
•Provide technical support for business pursuit, including participation on strategic job acquisition teams.
•Manage design work from conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents through construction documents.
•Validate Design-Build Turnkey process effectiveness and identify and develop improvements, including securing customers through transition and supporting acquisition/customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

•Four-year degree in Engineering, Technical field, Business, or equivalent experience.
•Ability to audit existing mechanical and building systems and recommend improvements.
•Understanding of construction methods/practices and ability to communicate with and direct subcontractors to obtain proposal information.
•Basic engineering knowledge including electricity, mechanical HVAC systems, and building construction industry.
•Proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD (or other design software); knowledge of computerized energy simulation tools is a plus.
