Own footwear costing evaluation and negotiation to ensure product costs are accurate and within a reasonable market price range, supporting margin improvement. Follow costing processes and timelines for NPI rounds, review CBDs and detailed costs during development, and negotiate pricing with suppliers to meet margin objectives. Identify cost-saving opportunities using commodity and labor data, collaborate cross-functionally on cost reviews and audits, and keep supplier quotes and materials updated in Centric and SAP.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow costing process and timeline to complete each round cost submission with accurate and timely inputs.
•Review CBD of NPI styles and provide cost reduction suggestions or raise cost issues to drive reductions early in development.
•Negotiate pricing with T1 and T2 to meet margin objectives and consolidate cost information to support costing model setup.
•Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities using commodity price tracker and labor wage data for annual cost adjustments.
•Work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to update and verify costing inputs and reports (e.g., supplier quotes/material contents, price confirmation, cost summary, and VA/E&O checks).

Key Requirements

•6+ years of costing experience in the footwear industry.
•Education: college or above.
•Excellent English in both written and oral.
•Good at price negotiation.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
