Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the full product development lifecycle (concept, tech pack hand-off, sampling, costing, fit, and pass-off to production) as the single accountable calendar owner.
  • •Run fast-lane development for domestic and import, holding teams to chase timelines and aligning plans with merchandising and business goals.
  • •Partner with Design and R&D to ensure creative direction becomes viable, manufacturable product and to prevent margin or retail-price disconnects.
  • •Own costing across channels, manage the product development/production budget, and conduct vendor performance conversations (cost, quality, delivery) to guide capacity allocation and vendor mix.
  • •Maintain accurate PLM/PIM data, ensure compliance and quality standards with QA, own fit-to-production sign-off, and build/mentor the product development team.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in apparel product development with people-management experience at the manager or associate director level or above.
  • •Proven ownership of costing negotiations, margin targets, and budget management.
  • •Experience building and retaining supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiation on cost, quality, and capacity.
  • •Comfort managing both import and domestic development processes and understanding geography-driven calendar/capacity differences.
  • •Working knowledge of PLM/ERP systems and BOM/product data maintenance across the product lifecycle.
