Job Summary

Lead structural design work for bridges and related structures across all phases of project development, from feasibility and preliminary design through detailed engineering. Coordinate and guide small design teams, perform value engineering and quality control reviews, and ensure project technical milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met. Collaborate with multidisciplinary, international teams on public and private Design & Build transportation projects.

•Coordinate and contribute to bridges and structures projects with other designers across EC offices.
•Coordinate and lead small design teams focused on structural design for a specific project.

•Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings, including interdisciplinary reviews.
•Prepare complex deliverables and supervise/mentor junior technical and support staff to meet project milestones and budgets.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
•5+ years’ experience working on bridges and/or structures design, including exposure to international and multicultural teams.
•Experience applying international engineering standards (e.g., AASHTO, AREMA, Australian Codes, British Standards).
•Proficiency with bridge/structures engineering software, preferably Midas Civil (also acceptable: CSiBridge, SAP2000).
•Fluency in English (oral and written).
