Build and scale real-time communication safety systems that help protect billions of messages across 2D and 3D experiences. Architect reliable backend services and moderation pipelines, leverage ML model tuning and prompt engineering, and develop systems for global and regional policy compliance. Collaborate with Game Engine, Safety, and ML platform teams, improve engineering processes, and maintain high quality through automated testing while enabling new communication products.

•Engineer and scale next-generation infrastructure to support millions of concurrent users with reliable safety services.
•Work with ML to tune models and use prompt engineering to build safe chat experiences.
•Design and implement moderation systems to uphold global and regional policy compliance and prevent harmful content.
•Introduce and improve processes to be more effective and efficient while enforcing high quality standards.
•Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver projects end-to-end and take ownership throughout the full lifecycle.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 153,120 - 196,750 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience in backend software development.
•2+ years of experience building and supporting ML systems in a production environment.
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
•Experience collaborating with backend engineers on client/server design and architecture for high-scale products, including caching and performance principles.
•Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data Science to deliver results aligned with the team’s vision.
