Key Responsibilities

  • •Cost Planning & Budget Management: Lead development and management of project budgets from early planning through completion; establish and maintain detailed cost plans aligned to scope, schedule, and risk; validate and challenge estimates; monitor budget performance; prepare budget forecasts and cash flow projections.
  • •Design Phase Cost Management: Provide cost modeling and estimating support; evaluate design alternatives and recommend cost-effective solutions; lead value engineering while preserving design intent; conduct analyses of design and procurement options; assess cost impacts of changes.
  • •Procurement & Contract Support: Support procurement strategy, participate in vendor selection, review bids, evaluate pricing structures and contingencies, and assist in contract negotiations and awards.
  • •Construction Phase Commercial Management: Evaluate change orders and claims, validate cost proposals, monitor costs and forecast final totals, contribute to cost reporting, provide independent oversight, and support dispute resolution.
  • •Risk Management & Reporting: Identify cost and market risks, develop mitigation strategies, monitor escalation trends, and prepare executive-level cost reports and governance documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial management.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related field.
  • •Strong expertise in cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial management.
  • •Experience supporting large-scale or complex development projects (e.g., commercial, institutional, higher education, mixed-use).
  • •Ability to analyze complex financial and project data to support decision-making.
