Lead security advisory engagements for Microsoft-first clients, shaping strategic opportunities and driving growth from discovery through proposal and project delivery. Advise on Microsoft security capabilities across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Copilot, and Agent 365 while supporting pre-sales and solution development.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead security assessments, discovery workshops, maturity reviews, and strategic advisory engagements for Avanade and Accenture clients.
•Assess client security posture against frameworks and regulations, and develop security roadmaps, recommendations, and transformation programs.
•Act as a trusted security advisor to senior business and technical stakeholders, building long-term client relationships and identifying additional value.
•Shape and influence security opportunities from early-stage discussions, translate challenges into solution designs and statements of work, and lead RFP/proposal/tender responses.
•Advise clients on Microsoft security capabilities and best practices, including capability assessments, licensing/architecture recommendations, and ongoing portfolio updates.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience delivering cyber security advisory and consulting engagements for enterprise and mid-market organizations.
•Strong understanding of industry/regulatory frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, DORA, NIS2, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.
•Proven track record in security pre-sales, opportunity shaping, and solution development, including RFP/bid responses and statements of work.
•Comfortable operating across business and technical stakeholder groups, with C-level advisory and workshop facilitation capability.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft security ecosystem tools and platforms such as Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
