Job Summary

Build and optimize petabyte-scale data pipelines and infrastructure for the Ads Data team, supporting TikTok’s global advertising business. Work with Product Managers, Data Scientists/Analysts, and Software/ML Engineers to deliver scalable data solutions, including data models, warehousing, visualization, and data quality checks. Continuously improve performance and latency, provide on-call support for critical pipelines, and maintain documentation and data governance best practices.

•Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists/Analysts, and Software/ML Engineers to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.

•Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large data volumes.
•Design and implement data models and visualization to support analytical queries, reporting, and complex data needs.
•Ensure data integrity with data quality checks, validation, and monitoring; provide rapid on-call support and maintain documentation and data governance best practices.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong knowledge of SQL with experience working with relational and non-relational databases.

•Understanding data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT techniques.
•Ability to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2026 and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
