Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect landing gear components for damage.
  • •Record condition/dimensions to determine repair/overhaul requirements per manuals and customer requirements.
  • •Assemble fabricated parts/components/units at floor stations.
  • •Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • •Diagnose test failures and perform repair, disassembly/reassembly, and operation checkouts; read and interpret blueprint drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • •Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.

  • •Ability to use hand tools and power tools for polishing and corrosion removal according to specifications.
  • •Typically may require completion of an apprenticeship or training.
