Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with design and manufacturing engineering to capture assembly and testing requirements and deliver ergonomic-compliant tooling, fixtures, and material handling solutions.
  • •Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues across assembly, testing, and manufacturing processes.
  • •Lead design, development, and implementation of custom material handling systems, tooling, and fixtures for production and operational needs.
  • •Manage tooling programs and projects from concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and business objectives.
  • •Plan, coordinate, execute, and document engineering tests, generating test reports to support design validation and performance assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • •Minimum 8–15 years designing and developing SPMs, assembly line automation, and fixtures in a development or manufacturing organization.
  • •Strong knowledge of automated fixture design, material selection, machining and fabrication processes, and post-processing operations.
  • •Proficiency in creating manufacturing drawings and defining tolerances with GD&T (GD&T certification is desirable).
  • •Hands-on experience with structural/mechanical calculations and analyses tools such as Ansys or Nastran (desirable).
