Job Summary

Drive tractor-trailer routes locally and stay home nightly while transporting raw materials from vendor to plant and unloading at approved locations. Maintain accurate delivery and DOT-related records, perform pre-trip inspections, and operate safely under state/federal rules and company safety procedures. Provide routine maintenance documentation, inspect equipment and supplies, survey job sites for safe unloading, and monitor/report equipment, product quality, customer satisfaction, and traffic issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport raw materials from vendor to plant site and unload materials in proper locations
•Maintain complete and accurate records including drivers’ daily truck log, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation per state and federal regulations
•Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report concerns or problems
•Operate tractor-trailer/vehicle according to state and federal laws and company/DOT safety regulations
•Provide and document routine maintenance for assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
