Install and commission audiovisual collaboration systems for contracted projects, including cable pulls/terminations, rack fabrication and wiring, and equipment layout. Lead and direct installation crews on less complex jobs while coordinating with a Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction targets. Interpret schematics/blueprints, test point-to-point cabling and functionality, and communicate daily site status and change requests. Provide client training on-site.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects, including cable pulls/terminations, equipment/components, rack fabrication and wiring, and equipment layout.
•Lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects, coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
•Oversee jobsite work quality for Level 1 technicians and provide jobsite leadership.
•Test and verify cabling and system functionality; troubleshoot audiovisual equipment and system issues.
•Serve as a customer liaison on-site, communicate daily status and manage on-site change requests with the Project Manager.

Key Requirements

•2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
•Intermediate proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) including conduit runs and cable trays.
•Intermediate ability to diagnose and resolve issues with audiovisual equipment and systems.
•Read and interpret system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints.
•Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting AVI-SPL driving standards, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.
