Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to support animal welfare and production needs. Perform farm sanitation and high-pressure washing, help move animals, and support piglet processing activities including medicating and basic veterinary procedures. Maintain accurate production records, follow SOPs and animal welfare policies, and support facility and equipment maintenance while complying with environmental, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure welfare/well-being.
•Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform basic animal husbandry tasks including basic veterinary procedures.
•Sanitize and wash farm areas using high-pressure equipment; assist with facility and equipment maintenance.
•Move animals and maintain efficient animal flows.
•Maintain accurate production information and update department records; follow animal welfare policies, SOPs, and biosecurity procedures.

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Previous livestock handling helpful.
•Ability to do hard physical labor.
•Strong commitment to teamwork.
