Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Engineering to create parts, assemblies, and layouts in Creo Parametric.
  • •Develop design documentation, 3D models, and production drawings using computer design and product life cycle management systems.
  • •Apply technical knowledge across areas such as change control, BOM, product definition & selection, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing-related design topics.
  • •Recognize and recommend solutions for design or product configuration problems; detect and correct errors.
  • •Perform technical support by answering questions from other departments related to drawings or design data, adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Design plus at least 2 years of designer work experience; or 5+ years of designer experience in lieu of an Associate’s degree.
  • •Experience with SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, Creo Schematics, Inventor or ProEngineer.
  • •Ability to coordinate and direct project planning and scheduling.
  • •Working knowledge of change control, bill of material, product definition & selection, machine design, castings, fabrication, sheet metal, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
  • •Ability to translate verbal and/or written instructions into HVAC product drawings and create 2D/3D engineering drawings.
