Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with integrity and prioritize safety and health across the distribution center operation.
  • •Provide subject matter expertise across environmental management, compliance, occupational safety, risk management, and/or occupational health.
  • •Ensure OSHA compliance, including PIT programs, new hire and ongoing safety training, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, chemical safety, and OSHA 300 logs and reporting.
  • •Support management during accident/injury investigations and root-cause analysis, and act as a subject matter expert for safety and security questions.
  • •Drive site-level HSE initiatives (behavior safety, safe work permits, safety observations, near misses), conduct JSAs, and support emergency action planning with local first responders.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of occupational safety experience with knowledge of manufacturing/industrial EHS.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or Environmental Health & Safety preferred; high school diploma with 4+ years EHS experience considered.
  • •Preferred safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, OHST.
  • •Expertise in OSHA compliance, including powered industrial trucks and lockout/tagout and prevention of strain and sprain injuries.
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence across all levels, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google apps.
