Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and develop the IAM Platform engineering team, including hiring, mentorship, performance, and scaling the team thoughtfully.
  • •Deliver ClickUp’s enterprise-grade access management platform, including authorization engine, permission/role model, authentication, SCIM provisioning, sharing/access-control primitives, audit logs, OAuth/API token management, and core data model APIs.
  • •Set roadmap and priorities in partnership with product, security, and engineering leadership to keep access and identity capabilities at an enterprise-grade standard.
  • •Run an AI-native team by structuring work for AI agents to route, scope, and report progress, reducing status meetings and manual reporting.
  • •Partner with enterprise customers, GTM, and security on access-control and identity requirements, and represent ClickUp in enterprise security and architecture reviews.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production SaaS, with 3+ years managing engineering teams (including senior engineers).
  • •Hands-on identity and access management experience delivering authentication and authorization systems, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWTs, MFA/2FA, enterprise SSO, SCIM, and RBAC/role models (ideally multi-tenant).
  • •Proven ability to use AI tools and agentic workflows to reduce noise and streamline team operations, including automating reporting, triage, and status.
  • •Experience delivering enterprise-grade SaaS at scale and working directly with enterprise customers and their security, compliance, and administrative requirements.
  • •Track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams through hiring, growth, and retention.
