Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier analysis to create strategic sourcing plans that identify new suppliers, optimize cost structures, and ensure continuity of supply.
  • •Create sourcing strategies aligned to company goals for payment terms, cash targets, on-time delivery, and cost savings.
  • •Build and own project budgets, generate funding requests, and create capitalization plans based on project timelines and TCO; negotiate capex with contract manufacturers.
  • •Manage the supply base using forecast and clear-to-build models, including tier 2–3 suppliers from the contract manufacturer.
  • •Oversee contract manufacturer day-to-day operations (capacity bring-up, equipment readiness, material readiness) and execute purchasing transactions with PO issuance and delivery via materials requirement planning (MRP).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in supply chain, production, or engineering, or 10+ years in the same areas in lieu of a degree.
  • •2+ years of procurement experience in a high-volume contract manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong understanding of consumer electronic manufacturing supply chain, capex planning, and commercial negotiations.
  • •Experience managing product development, new product introduction (NPI), and mass production (MP) processes.
  • •Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
