Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and disseminate informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate, publicize and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure online chat, video teleconference) as allowed by program offices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required (or an associate degree with 4 years' experience) or a high school diploma with 6 years' experience
•3+ years of financial counseling experience
•Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract
•Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
•Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
