Key Responsibilities

  • •Load and unload aircraft as part of daily freight ground handling
  • •Handle freight across domestic and international areas of the Freight department
  • •Operate forklifts, tugs, and heavy machinery

  • •Support warehouse freight documentation lodging into the iCargo system while working with supervisors and managers

Key Requirements

  • •Current and valid provisional or full state/territory driver’s licence
  • •Current and valid forklift licence or willing to obtain one at your own expense
  • •Ability to repetitively lift items up to 32 kgs
  • •Ability to work all shifts in a 24-hour, 7-day rotational roster (shifts vary week to week)
  • •Pass a pre-employment medical (Qantas funded)
