Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot ready-mix concrete plant equipment to keep daily production running safely and efficiently. Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on mixers, conveyors, batch systems, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, conduct safety-focused inspections, maintain maintenance records, and coordinate repairs with plant operators and supervisors. Follow OSHA/MSHA safety protocols and support plant upgrades and modifications as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on ready-mix plant equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and batch systems.
•Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement timely repairs.
•Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.
•Maintain and repair engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery to minimize downtime.
•Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and reporting documentation.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in concrete, construction materials, or heavy equipment.
•Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
•Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
•High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred.
•Follow safety protocols and OSHA/MSHA requirements, including wearing PPE as required.
