Lead contracting and project delivery for commercial HVAC controls and building automation projects in the greater Detroit area. Own project financials, administration, schedules, compliance, documentation, and customer satisfaction across multi-building or complex portfolios. Serve as the primary stakeholder point of contact, support sales with quotes and proposals, manage change orders, and mentor team members while acting as an HVAC controls subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

•Support sales with quote preparation and proposals, and manage change orders by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes, and closing orders.
•Lead project administration, including understanding contract clauses, validating scope/cost/schedule, managing compliance and documentation, and supporting safety guidelines.
•Create and maintain project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, milestones, critical path, and resource constraint planning.
•Financially manage projects: cash flow, monthly forecasts, cost/revenue tracking, collections support, monthly project reviews, and cost-category impact analysis.
•Oversee subcontractor RFQ, awards, execution, and project communications, while maintaining customer satisfaction through investigation, corrective actions, and status communications.

Key Requirements

•Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Project Management degree is preferred.
•Combination of degree and/or 7-10 years of experience in HVAC Controls and Project Management.

•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
