Job Summary

Lead finance program controls for the Emerging & Proprietary Programs portfolio within the AES organization. Own the 5-Year Plan and Annual Operating Plan processes, drive financial forecasting and variance analysis, ensure Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS) compliance, and develop Estimates at Completion (EACs). Manage contract-related financial controls, cash management, capital requests, and ROI analysis, while providing financial guidance across development and production programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of five or more finance professionals, including assigning work and mentoring employees.
•Partner with Program Leadership and functional organizations to support program execution, financial planning, and business objectives.
•Implement and maintain financial controls supporting contract execution and investment activities.
•Lead EACs, EVMS activities, and AOP and LRP processes.
•Support financial forecasting and reporting, variance analysis, proposal activities, cash management, capital planning, and ROI analysis.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with at least 7 years).
•Experience managing staff and leading business teams.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
•U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance.
•Experience performing financial analysis and supporting business decision-making.
