Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the customer SME for maintenance-related issues across Army Common platforms and related equipment families.
  • •Perform technical inspections, repairs, and services at organizational and intermediate maintenance levels.
  • •Complete scheduled and routine unscheduled vehicle maintenance at the unit site and off-site when deployed to another CONUS location.
  • •Troubleshoot and diagnose engine, transmission, and electrical problems to determine required repairs per technical manuals.
  • •Diagnose trouble sources and assist with equipment turn-in by replacing and rebuilding worn or unserviceable components, following safety procedures.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess an active security clearance SECRET or higher.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • •Have at least 5 years of hard maintenance experience on family military vehicles.
  • •Be familiar with the FMTV, LMTVs, M1113s, M1151s, M1165s/M1152s, M1097s, M1038s, MRAPs, GMVs, ATVs, snowmobiles, generators, and other power-driven equipment requiring OEM technical manuals.
  • •Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics IAW applicable technical manuals.
