Job Summary

Serve as a customer SME for maintenance of Army Common vehicle platforms, covering inspections, repairs, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at organizational and intermediate levels. Diagnose engine, transmission, and electrical issues using applicable technical manuals, determine repair scope, and assist with equipment turn-in by replacing and rebuilding worn or unserviceable parts. Perform all duties in accordance with safety procedures, with onsite support at a classified OCONUS location.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the customer SME for maintenance-related issues across Army Common platforms and related equipment families.
•Perform technical inspections, repairs, and services at organizational and intermediate maintenance levels.
•Complete scheduled and routine unscheduled vehicle maintenance at the unit site and off-site when deployed to another CONUS location.
•Troubleshoot and diagnose engine, transmission, and electrical problems to determine required repairs per technical manuals.
•Diagnose trouble sources and assist with equipment turn-in by replacing and rebuilding worn or unserviceable components, following safety procedures.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Must possess an active security clearance SECRET or higher.
•Must be a U.S. citizen.
•Have at least 5 years of hard maintenance experience on family military vehicles.
•Be familiar with the FMTV, LMTVs, M1113s, M1151s, M1165s/M1152s, M1097s, M1038s, MRAPs, GMVs, ATVs, snowmobiles, generators, and other power-driven equipment requiring OEM technical manuals.
•Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics IAW applicable technical manuals.
