Job Summary

Lead end-to-end data and AI initiatives for consumer electronics, eCommerce, and B2B lines in a GCP-native environment. Own strategic analytics and reporting in Looker/Looker Studio, design scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and BigQuery data models, and govern enterprise data architecture with Dataplex/Data Catalog. Build AI-ready foundations for RAG and agentic workflows using Vertex AI and Gemini, while directly managing a team of analysts and coordinating across global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and execute end-to-end analyses on large datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
•Build and continuously improve interactive dashboards and self-serve reporting in Looker and Looker Studio, defining KPIs and business logic.
•Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time ELT/ETL pipelines using GCP services, ensuring production-grade performance, observability, and reliability.
•Architect and govern enterprise data architecture on GCP, including data mesh principles and metadata/lineage strategies with Dataplex and Data Catalog, and enforce security/compliance controls.
•Manage a team of 3–4 analysts/contractors, align stakeholders globally, and drive AI and agentic development using Vertex AI and Gemini to deliver automated workflows (including RAG and evaluation).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
•8–15 years of combined hands-on experience across data analysis, data engineering, and data architecture in a production, cloud-native environment.
•Deep expertise in Google BigQuery, including advanced SQL, query optimization, partitioning/clustering, dataset design, and cost governance.
•Proficiency in Python for data engineering, pipeline development, data manipulation, and automation scripting.
•Hands-on experience with GCP data pipeline services and tooling such as Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Composer (Airflow), Pub/Sub, dbt, Looker/Looker Studio, and data governance tools like Dataplex/Data Catalog.
