Key Responsibilities

•Protective Relaying: Lead symmetry component analysis, protection philosophy development, relay settings, and integration with SCADA systems.
•Protection Analyses: Conduct electrical model development, short circuit, time-current coordination, arc flash, and event analysis with NERC compliance.
•Team Leadership: Lead client project teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
•Client Leadership: Maintain and grow client relationships, delivering technically sound solutions and meeting commitments.
•Data Acquisition: Support onsite data collection visits and discuss project specifics at an appropriate technical level for clients.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 177,800 - 337,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
•15+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering Protective Relaying projects for utility or industrial scale.
•Professional Engineering (PE) license (multi-state preferred).
•Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
•Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to health, safety and harassment policies.
