Job Summary

Assist with construction inspection work under general supervision for projects in Las Vegas. Collect and analyze field-site data, surveys, and technical drawings; perform basic inspections of site conditions and materials to verify conformance with applicable codes, standards, and permits. Provide basic technical assistance for building and infrastructure systems, help interpret plans and change orders, and produce clear documentation and inspection reports while following safety and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from physical work sites, surveys, and technical drawings to support inspection activities.
•Assist with performing basic professional inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, materials, equipment, and related layout and elevation.
•Provide basic technical assistance to support proper inspection, construction, and functioning of buildings and infrastructure systems.
•Assist with verifying load calculations, interpreting contract plans and specifications, and escalating differences or technical problems.
•Generate accurate inspection documentation and specifications using electronic systems and produce reports with clear findings.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma.
•Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-education experience in the discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
•Valid state driver’s license.
•Familiarity with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, and relevant codes, regulations, and record-keeping requirements.
•Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, and spreadsheets; capable of following safety and workplace policies.
