Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead financial projection, analysis, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial/operational reporting for a region, including tracking regional and plant-level profitability.
  • •Develop and utilize planning tools and processes to coordinate capital, O&M, and fuel cost tracking and reporting.
  • •Monitor actual results versus plan, projection, and prior year to ensure regional targets are met or exceeded.
  • •Collaborate with regional plant leaders to summarize financial results, provide corrective actions, and support ad-hoc and strategic analysis.
  • •Support quarterly business reviews and ensure regional variance analysis is included in the monthly Financial Operating Report.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related analytical discipline.
  • •5 years of finance work experience in a dynamic, analytical environment.
  • •1 year of management experience with matrix responsibilities.
  • •Experience in the competitive energy industry (power, natural gas).
  • •Strong information systems experience, including financial and operational analytics (e.g., data mining and activity-based costing), plus experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
