Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake feasibility studies and develop concepts through to detailed mechanical building-services design, specification, and tender.
  • •Provide continuous feedback to the Local Head of GCC on protocol and process effectiveness for continuous improvement.
  • •Perform technical reviews, peer reviews, checks, and contribute to the design.
  • •Develop energy strategies incorporating renewable technologies and low-energy designs to satisfy local authority planning requirements and compliance.
  • •Manage delegated tasks to meet deadlines, flag resourcing concerns, identify potential risks, and flag additional fees to the Local GCC Head of MEP.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in a relevant subject).
  • •Minimum 12+ years of relevant work experience.
  • •Significant experience designing Building Services, with strong mechanical technical expertise.
  • •Design experience of UK projects and knowledge of various building project types.
  • •Membership to an accredited engineering body (e.g., MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE) and fluency in English technical terminology.
