Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble metal bus bars and other switchboard components using diagrams, blueprints, bill of materials, and work instructions.
  • •Perform electrical wiring assembly using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, pliers) and accurately measure/install materials.
  • •Understand power flow and follow guidelines to comply with regulations when wiring switchboards.
  • •Maintain job progress and communicate problems, part shortages, and progress updates.
  • •Perform quality work including visual inspections, troubleshooting errors, and conducting root-cause analysis; comply with safety and 5S duties and cross-train as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •1 year of manufacturing or operations experience.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •No relocation benefit offered; only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the Sumter facility will be considered.
  • •Preferred: working knowledge of Lean concepts and experience with bus assembly/switchboard wiring.
