Key Responsibilities

  • •Tell the market’s weather stories that captivate viewers using accurate, hyper-local forecasting.
  • •Develop creative ways to present daily weather and produce weather segments for other Telemundo and NBCU stations.
  • •Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service and other meteorological sources.
  • •Use MAX Reality/Connect, including knowledge of MAX reality and producing 3-D models, to integrate into storytelling.
  • •Update the Telemundo Las Vegas website and provide social media reporting (especially during severe events), including live community event attendance and post forecasts in Spanish and English.

Key Requirements

  • •1 to 2 years of experience as a television presenter.
  • •Spanish-fluent (spoken and written).
  • •Degree in meteorology preferred or commitment to obtain the degree within a contractual time period.
  • •Must be able to work flexible and sometimes long hours due to weather events, including possible nights and weekends.
  • •Must be 18 years or greater.
