Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive DFX excellence by reviewing, analyzing, documenting, and validating mechanical components and assemblies with global manufacturing teams.
  • •Conduct design reviews to validate product robustness and performance and assess operational feasibility for new manufacturing processes.
  • •Interface with suppliers plus mechanical/electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support development, qualification, and launch of new server products.
  • •Develop Integrated Level Assembly (ILA) documentation and governance for DFX review across manufacturing, test, assembly, and quality domains.
  • •Create production/build readiness plans, align manufacturing capabilities to product roadmaps, and improve manufacturability, cycle time, and product quality using metrics and root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong expertise in mechanical development and DFX processes, with ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex product development from concept through production.
  • •Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering, typically 5+ years, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to drive alignment on critical requirements across development and manufacturing environments.
  • •Solid program execution and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues, manage trade-offs, and mitigate risks.
  • •Ability to interpret product specifications and translate them into operational requirements with effective cross-functional communication.
