Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with safety rules and regulations, and be familiar with fire equipment in the area.
  • •Monitor unit parameters, record periodic readings, and summarize shift activities in log books.
  • •Follow Shift Charge Engineer/Shift Supervisor instructions and coordinate with other operators during operations and abnormal conditions.
  • •Inspect unit and auxiliaries during the shift, report abnormalities, and ensure equipment changeover and protection tests are completed with records maintained.
  • •Ensure Lock Out & Tag Out during maintenance, raise work requests/defect notes, assist training of new operators, and report near misses/deviations and ensure proper waste disposal.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Engineering is required; Bachelor of Engineering is preferred.
  • •Minimum 5 years in the same position.
  • •Be familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, and operation/control logics.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Management System principles.
  • •Knowledge of firefighting equipment, PPE/safety equipment, and first aid measures.
