Job Summary

Provide tactical and strategic EHS3 support for operations across Czechia, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia, reporting to the European Director EHSS&S in a remote capacity. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to site leadership teams, coordinate Safe System of Work, lead incident investigations and hazard mitigation, maintain legal and compliance registers, and drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 responsibilities to build a stronger safety culture.

Location: Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia

Key Responsibilities

•Provide tactical and strategic EHSS&S support for site operations across Czechia, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia.
•Create and maintain Safe System of Work (SSoW) for environmental, health and safety, security, and sustainability activities.
•Serve as EHSS&S point of contact for regulators, customers, and internal safety audits.
•Manage incident investigations using root cause analysis and barrier failure methodologies (ABS Group).
•Develop, audit, maintain, and coordinate local responsibilities relating to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Relevant senior professional qualifications in sciences, occupational safety, or related fields (above level 6 or equivalent).
•A relevant environmental qualification.
•Lead auditor training for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
•Significant demonstratable experience within a global organisation in a multi-geographic role.
•Fluent Hungarian or Czech and English (C1).
