Key Responsibilities

  • •Assure EHS Management System (MESH) compliance and execute related initiatives to meet area objectives, including reporting and site certification strategy (ZWTL & ZWD).
  • •Develop and implement annual EHS action plans and projects; maintain an EHS compliance calendar to support ongoing compliance.
  • •Participate in the Corporate EHS Audit Program, register employee observations/concerns, and support investigations of concerns, EHS incidents, and near misses with corrective actions.
  • •Serve on emergency brigades, perform site hazard/aspect assessments with cross-functional teams, and promote a zero-incident EHS culture.
  • •Update and maintain EHS metric boards; ensure systems for environmental reporting data and timely submissions; teach required EHS training; develop MESH element champions and participate in Lean events and budget strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field, health, engineering, chemistry, or EHS management.
  • •5 years of experience.
  • •Knowledge of EHS Management System components, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • •Experience with ergonomics, occupational health, industrial hygiene, and machine guarding.
  • •Intermediate English and familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001, plus STPS and SEMARNAT requirements.
