Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly lead a team of Analytics Engineers embedded in a defined business domain, owning their performance, development and wellbeing
  • •Own the AE roadmap for your domain, identifying high-leverage investments and prioritising requests with business and product stakeholders
  • •Drive a data products mindset across your estate with clear ownership, SLAs, observability and data contracts
  • •Maintain strong technical involvement by reviewing data models and SQL, guiding architectural decisions, and stepping in hands-on when needed
  • •Contribute to AE-wide decisions on tooling, standards and process and shape Analytics Engineering practices across Deliveroo

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in an Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, or Data Engineering role with strong, hands-on SQL foundations
  • •Proven experience managing a team of ICs and developing people, with the ability to give feedback and handle typical team situations independently
  • •Demonstrated ability to own a technical roadmap for a domain area and deliver measurable business impact
  • •Strong grounding across the modern AE stack (cloud data warehousing, transformation tooling, data modelling, and data quality practices)
  • •Comfortable engaging with senior business and product stakeholders and aligning analytics investment to domain priorities
