Job Summary

Lead the TikTok Monetization Product Data Science team to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth through rigorous, data-driven decision making. Partner with engineering and product teams on cross-functional measurement, testing, and modeling, while building and managing a high-performing team. Use large-scale datasets to prototype analysis pipelines, develop scalable insights, and ensure data accuracy and consistency with Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with large, complex datasets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems using advanced analytical methods.
•Build and manage a high-performance team of data scientists and analysts.
•Build and prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights at scale.
•Develop deep knowledge of TikTok data structures and metrics and advocate for product development changes.
•Partner with engineering and product teams on cross-functional measurements, testing, and modeling efforts; coordinate with Data Engineering on data accuracy and consistency.

Key Requirements

•MS or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Statistics.
•Experience in data science, algorithmic engineering, or machine learning.
•Many years of experience managing and mentoring data science, data engineering, and analytics teams in a technology company.
•Experience with statistical software (R, Python, MATLAB) and database languages (SQL).
•Experience building data science models (Regression, Decision Trees, K-Means) and working with large data sets (Hive, Spark).
