Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage landscape and public realm design activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya vision and approved master plans.
  • •Oversee review, coordination and acceptance of technical design deliverables (drawings, specifications, calculations, reports and BIM outputs).
  • •Manage external landscape and public realm consultants, supporting procurement/appointment processes and driving accountability and performance.
  • •Oversee planning, delivery and implementation of landscape and public realm projects through the full lifecycle, monitoring progress, risks and milestone achievement.
  • •Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and sustainability requirements, safeguarding master plans/design guidelines and promoting sustainable landscape design principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Landscape Architecture (BA(Hons)) or a Master’s in Landscape Architecture or directly related discipline such as Urban Design/Urban Planning.
  • •Chartered Landscape Architect or equivalent internationally recognized professional (e.g., LI, AILA, ASLA).
  • •Extensive experience leading large-scale landscape and public realm projects for mixed-use, leisure/entertainment or destination developments aligned to approved master plans.
  • •Advanced knowledge of landscape design and detailing, including hardscape/softscape construction methodologies and Arabian planting palettes.
  • •Proficiency with tools and workflows including AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of Revit/BIM, plus experience using Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and Aconex/ACC (digital design management platforms).
