Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and leadership to deliver reusable engineering artifacts.
  • •Work with Tech PO and Tech lead to define scope and convert it into tangible deliverables.
  • •Coordinate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks) to deliver HSBC baseline cloud architecture.
  • •Co-design common standards and practices with service lines to prevent duplicated technical artifacts.
  • •Ensure DevSecOps capabilities, alignment with FSA, and delivery of cross-sub-valuestream common capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).
  • •10+ years hands-on experience with cloud migration (GCP preferred) and large-scale integration projects.
  • •Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, storage, and cloud functions, plus CI/CD pipeline delivery.
  • •Strong background in microservices and API-first development, including security (IAM, Active Directory/ADLDS) and service-to-service design/deployment.
  • •Experience with DevSecOps automation and tooling (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub) and event/data streaming platforms (Data Proc, Pub/Sub, Confluent/Kafka).
