Key Responsibilities

•Define, execute, and scale a multi-year end-to-end user experience strategy across Vivint touchpoints (mobile apps, physical smart panels, ambient device interactions).
•Champion and evolve a unified design language system (DLS) so third-party partner integrations and native hardware feel cohesive.
•Architect systems-level interaction models, user journeys, and information hierarchies bridging physical behaviors with real-time digital controls.
•Pioneer AI/ML-driven UX patterns for ambient intelligence and machine learning features, translating predictive data into non-intrusive experiences.
•Create UX artifacts (flows, wireframes, storyboards, interactive prototypes) and lead usability testing and telemetry feedback loops in partnership with product analytics.

•8+ years of experience as a UX, interaction, or product designer with a strong portfolio of shipped consumer tech, mobile apps, or complex IoT/smart home systems.
•Demonstrated ability designing software features driven by predictive algorithms, complex data, or multi-device hardware environments.
•B.S., M.S., or B.F.A. in HCI, interaction design, visual design, or a related technical/creative discipline (or equivalent portfolio-backed experience).
•Expert-level mastery of modern UX and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Principle, ProtoPie) to model state-based smart home behaviors.
•Ability to establish design frameworks in highly undefined spaces (e.g., emerging AI or multi-vendor hardware configurations).
