Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily field inspections of roadway and transportation construction to verify conformance with plans, specifications, contract requirements, and standards.
  • •Monitor construction activities and contractor performance, identifying quality/compliance issues and communicating them to the project team.
  • •Maintain accurate inspection records including field notes, photographs, quantities, testing documentation, and other project records.
  • •Observe and document work across roadway elements such as earthwork, drainage, concrete, asphalt, utilities, structures, and traffic control.
  • •Support quality assurance activities including measurements/quantity tracking, punch lists, closeout, and participation in project meetings with progress updates.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •A valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check per company policy.
  • •Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds consistently and work outdoors in varying weather and active construction environments.
  • •Hands-on roadway or transportation construction inspection experience with strong attention to detail.
  • •SRDTT Concrete Testing Certification (or ability to obtain it within 6 months).
