Key Responsibilities

  • •Own core infrastructure design, operation, and evolution of the Kubernetes-based platform (EKS or similar) including cluster topology, node groups, autoscaling, and multi-environment isolation.
  • •Manage supporting cloud resources: container registries, load balancers, queues, caches, and data infra needed to run APIs and agents.
  • •Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for image builds and infra rollouts (Pulumi/Terraform + Helm/Docker) and implement safe rollout strategies (blue/green, canary, staged rollouts).
  • •Define and track SLOs/SLIs for key services and improve observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerts); participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • •Design and maintain networking (VPCs, subnets, ingress/egress, DNS, TLS) and implement least-privilege IAM and secure secret management for multi-tenant and on-prem deployments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 75,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and operating production infrastructure on a major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • •Significant hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production (EKS/GKE/AKS or self-managed)
  • •Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Pulumi, Terraform, CDK, or similar)
  • •Strong scripting and programming skills in at least one modern language (TypeScript, Go, Python)
  • •Ability to define and track SLOs/SLIs and drive incident response and post-mortems
